John Militello is an accomplished creative director with outstanding skills in art direction, and strategic project management. John’s most recent experience includes his current position at Google as Group Manager - Creative, on the Creative Content Development team AKA the ZOO, where he has built and leads a team of highly motivated creatives. John’s creative group has quickly become the advertising voice of the Google/YouTube Creative Content Development team. In addition, to working with agencies and clients directly, John has spoken on behalf of Google at key industry events like the 2010 OMMA conference, 2010 Jay Chiat Strategy Festival, and Adweek’s Media 2010 Social Media Strategies conference.

Before Google John spent nearly ten years with Fitzgerald Brunetti Inc., a full-service boutique agency. As a Vice President and Creative Director, John was responsible for the creative direction of all production projects. Major accounts during his tenure at Fitzgerald Brunetti included Volvo and Mercedes-Benz and his credits include creative direction, strategy, graphic and motions design for a variety of award-winning programs. His design and direction for the Volvo For Life Awards web site earned a top web design award.

Prior to Fitzgerald Brunetti, John was Regional Creative Director at MDI Creative - New York, a national marketing company where he worked on print, video, and live show events for such companies as Mercedes-Benz and BMW Car and Motorcycle. Before being promoted and transfered to the NY office, John was an Art Director at MDI Creative - Detroit and worked with clients including Lincoln-Mercury and Ford Heavy Truck.

Prior to MDI, John was a designer at Cromwell Communications, one of Detroit's top design studios. At Cromwell, he worked on a variety of national accounts including Little Caesar’s Pizza, Ford, Oldsmobile, K Mart, the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers and the award-winning "Wild Time II" campaign for the Michigan Lottery.
